Demo/EP and what have you (also, four acts that are amazing live)

We recently finished our first batch of demos/EPs. Below, you can scope the finished copies, as well as some of the components of our two man sweat shop:

A myriad of demos, which we colored pretty randomly.

Each one is numbered, these from 1 to 48. 49 to ? soon to come.

We had a strange number of demos/EPs, so we decided to make a few special.

Monday night, Kid Supreme and I went to Cambridge to see No Age, High Places, Abe Vigoda, and Palm perform at the Middle East. We gave out all of the demos/EPs we brought (30?), and succeeded in giving a copy to at least one member in each band. I got my act together and asked the girl from High Places if she would accept one, which was very intimidating for me. It felt like asking that girl you've had your eye on for a while on a date.

Regardless, they were amazing, and a lot more danceable than I ever remember them being.

Palm, the opening act, was super nice when I talked to him about his (stellar) set and our demo.

Abe Vigoda...holy shit, Abe Vigoda. Amazing. Amazing. Kid Supreme and I both thought that they were fucking phenomenal, and I loved the fact that they were (partly) Latino. Abe Vigoda + The Bridal Shower, reppin bands that have some Hispanic members, yo. Plus, the drummer and guitar player were both great guys and took a demo/EP.

No Age, once again, blew me away live. Dean was talking to the crowd while they were setting up, so I asked him if he wanted a copy of our recording. He accepted, and told me I better go nuts when they played, which I definitely did.

Thanks to all the bands for being stupendous, as well as really nice for taking a demo/EP from some kids in some band that you've never heard of! Also, thanks to everybody in the crowd who took one, and hopefully enjoyed/is still enjoying it!
