The Bridal Shower Has Shows?

What? That's nonsense, everybody knows that The Bridal Shower doesn't play shows. Surely this is a joke. Well I'm here to set you all straight and explain The Bridal Shower does play shows and has some shows coming up. First, as mentioned by us earlier, we are playing with Brava Spectre and Yip-Yip at The Eclectic Wear in New London, CT on the 27th of October (that's this month! and it's a Monday). It's going to be fun show because we're playing with two awesome bands, but also because this is our first show with Raptrz and we'll get to tweak our live performance. Then we were just asked by my university, Roger Williams University, to play a show. Said show will be the first or second Saturday in November. I'm excited about this show because I don't think the students of Roger Williams are prepared for The Bridal Shower. Not to suggest we're some brilliant enigmatic entity or something, but rather I doubt that most of these people have heard anything like The Bridal Shower, let alone do I think they've seen anything quite like us before.

So there you have it, The Bridal Shower does play shows and I expect you to attend. We should have even more shows in the coming months.

New Release

What's that? The Bridal Shower has another new release?
That's correct ladies and gentlemen, The Bridal Shower does, in fact, have a new album. It's called 'Tremendous Pulling Left.' As you might have already guessed this is our first album with Raptrz involved, so I hope you're as excited as we are. It's ten songs and unlike 'Little Boots' is only about 38 minutes. Again this album is a little different, but I think you'll find that at the core the songs have a similar feel to them.

I know what you all might be thinking "But Kid Supreme, you've already released so much material, won't that alienate your fan base and possible hurt your chances to get new fans?" Although that is very astute of you and I admire that, I would disagree. I think that since we're always writing new material and since shows are a little difficult to get right now, recording new albums is the best way for us to get our music out there.

It's So Exciting You Might Poop Your Pants

Hi everyone, this is your good friend Kid Supreme. I felt I had to come on here and create a blog for you all to read because something amazing has just come the way of your friends at The Bridal Shower. Through somewhat unlikely circumstances a friend of ours, known only as Captain Britain, has brought us into contact with the probably one of the coolest bands out there right now by the name of Fuck Buttons. Captain Britain recently attended a show with Fuck Buttons and Mogwai and took a video if Fuck Buttons. Captain Britain was then contacted by Fuck Buttons because they liked his video and asked for the raw footage. Captain Britain then proceeded to tell them about us and they liked it.
Obviously I'm very excited and I'm hoping that they can give us even more feedback on our music. So, this was my big news and I hope you all think it was as exciting as I did.

Also, I'm going to be coming home this weekend and I'm optimistic that we can record some new material. This should be great because you'll be able to hear how Raptrz has integrated into our music.
